Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 12, 2026

Convo (“the app”) is designed so that your conversations stay yours. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Data collection

Microphone and speech recognition

To transcribe speech, the app uses Apple's speech recognition technology built into iOS. Audio captured while you record may be processed on your device or sent to Apple's servers by iOS for recognition, as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. The app itself never records, saves or transmits audio anywhere else.

Text and settings

The text on the conversation board and your preferences (language, voice speed, text size) are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Permissions

The app asks for microphone and speech recognition permissions only to transcribe the other person's voice in real time. You can revoke them at any time in the iOS Settings; typing and text-to-speech keep working without them.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
